Laphroaig Càirdeas Port & Wine Casks Arriving in 2020
Laphroaig Càirdeas Port & Wine Casks has been revealed as 2020’s bottling of the annual Laphroaig Càirdeas release. Labels submitted to the TTB website indicate Laphroaig Càirdeas Port & Wine Casks will be a marriage of spirit fully matured in second fill Ruby Port barriques and ex-bourbon barrels, finished in red wine casks.
Laphroaig Càirdeas Port & Wine Casks is described as having aromas of “dark chocolate and menthol with pink peppercorns”, with notes of “toasted peaches, charred marshmallows, and a hint of plum jam” on the palate, “all intertwined with Laphroaig’s iodine rich peat smoke, resulting in a combination of honey sweet taste and Laphroaig’s signature medicinal smoke flavour.”
Laphroaig Càirdeas Port & Wine Casks will be bottled NCF (Non-Chill Filtered) at 52% ABV and is expected to hit stores sometime between spring and summer 2020.

Barring any delays, an official announcement regarding the 2020 Cairdeas is expected this week.
I’m sorry, but delivery costs of £15 to the UK is excessive.
I would have purchased otherwise
Went to purchase this until I seen the £15+ delivery cost to the U.K.
That’s just ridiculous and I’m not prepared to pay it.
Hi, I wondered why my delivery came from Berlin – and was charged with 5,90 EUR. Maybe you get it re-sent from Germany… that´s really sad….
